Overcoming insecurities

Trust that God makes no mistakes: Before you were in your mothers womb God knew you. He knew who you were going to become and He called you beautiful. Everything about you is beautiful, that alone should give you the confidence. There shouldn’t be any room of insecurity about who you are and who God created you to be.
Most of the times, especially women! we tend to look at ourselves and try to find what’s wrong with our physical appearance instead of embracing our uniqueness of who God created us to be. Every time you speak or see something negative about you or you don’t appreciate and recognize who God created you to be, you are actually saying to God that He made a mistake when He created you. God makes no mistakes. You were uniquely created and crafted by God and He made you perfect in His image.

So don’t allow the enemy to create thoughts of doubt about your identity. Resist and remove the insecure thoughts out of your mind and heart that cause you to feel that you are less than and cause you to think your are not enough and make you feel you are not beautiful. You are God’s reflection and everything beautiful God is, you are. The Bible says…I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well…Psalms 139:14.
So be confident and bold and embrace who God created you to be. God wants you to be confident, bold, fearless and free. He wants you to be healthy and whole-fully able to pursue your destiny. And He desires for you to feel good about yourself and your relationship with Him.

Stop comparing yourself with others: Be the original you. God made you an original and He has Great plans just for you. When you are insecure you tend to compare yourself with others and try to keep up with them. It’s exhausting and just leads to frustration. I remember long time ago when I was younger and was discovering who I was I used to compare myself to others until I found God through seeking Him and reading the Bible I discovered I was enough and beautiful just the way I was and my security was in God. Most of all His unconditional love was always present. That was a life changing moment. I leant how to love me, believe in me and God filled me up with confidence and security in Him. He can do the same for you today. Ask Him and He will transform your life.

Discover who you are in Christ: Most of the time ladies when insecurity occurs in our lives it’s because we have not discovered who we are in Christ and we start comparing ourselves to others. What you think is different about you actually it’s what makes you beautiful and unique. Embrace your uniqueness and Know your security is in God not man and material things.

No more fear and doubt: May be some of you started doubting yourselves because of what your friends, loved ones and family members said about you. Maybe they called you ugly, fat and they said the meanest things about your physical appearance that made you doubt yourself. When people attack you physical appearance most of the time they are insecure about who they are and they want to impose their insecurities on you which causes them to act out in a certain way. Remember hurt people hurt people. So forgive them , forgive yourself, love yourself because God loves you. Today is the day for emotional healing in your life. Delete every negative and insecure files out of the memory of your mind and heart and know God calls you beautiful and He loves you just the way you are because you are like God. He created you in His perfect image.

Many times we focus on ourselves when we should be focused on God. We focus on our weakness, faults and everything we have done wrong and feed on that which creates a mentality of failure. Which makes you feel not good enough and you start thinking you can’t achieve anything which leads to more insecurities. No more! ..The Bible says…He said to me: My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me… 2 Corinthians 12:9

God wants you to feel good about yourself. He wants you to be bold, confident, to be fearless, to walk in His power, believe Him for big things and be secure in Him always.

Trust God with your heart, insecurities, fears and anything that’s hindering you from walking into your divine destiny and let God heal you and transform your life . Because you are beautifully and wonderfully made by God, great is His works.

Many blessings, stay inspired, stay motivated to pursue your dreams and walk into your God given destiny in Jesus name.
