Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalms 100:4
Start your day by being thankful. When you look around you there so many things that you can be thankful for. A lot of things are happening in the world and around your life but always choose a lifestyle of being thankful and be grateful for everything.
Instead of complaining and murmuring choose to be thankful. Because murmuring and complaining does hinder God’s blessings from flowing in your life, it opens a door for the enemy to attack you, you will end up making decisions out of the flesh, you will end up making the wrong choices because your foundation has not been right because you did not have a thankful heart after everything that God has done for you, so do not choose to complain but chose to be thankful.
When you make being grateful and giving thanks a lifestyle it’s going to open doors for you. Being thankful gives you favor in all you do, being thankful releases God’s blessings upon your life and everything that was so difficult for you to do becomes easy when you have a grateful heart.
So even in dark times give thanks, when your world is falling apart give thanks, when you have nothing to eat, when you have no place to go, when you can’t pay your bills, your sick and you’re on the verge of losing your home, when the worst comes to the worst give thanks because in doing so your blessings will come.
So no matter what situation you’re in, instead of looking at everything negative around you, instead of looking at everything that is not going right and complain about it, instead of just complaining about not having enough be grateful for what you already have because the more you are grateful for where you are now God is going to release an abundance of his favor and blessings upon your life and everything that you were lacking God will provide, everything that you have been struggling with God will help you overcome it all.
Murmuring is a form of complaining that creates a negative attitude towards the situation or the people around you, just look at the children of Israel in their murmuring the Israelites decided it would have been better to have died in Egypt. In their haste to return, they even attempted to stone the ones urging them to stop grumbling and trust in the Lord Numbers 14:2. God gave them a promise to the promised land , the promise would’ve taken them 11 days to get there but because of murmuring and complaining it took them 40 years.
Can you imagine 40 years in the wilderness, you know many times we’ve done that to ourselves when God gave us a promise that would’ve taken us a short time to come to pass but it took us a long time to manifest because we were murmuring and complaining all through the journey.
So you’ve had to go around the same mountain over and over again because you were so ungrateful you and you were complaining all along the way and that delayed your promise and your blessings. But you can change all that by starting today and think of anything God has given you or done for you and be grateful.
Achieving our dreams and fulfilling our destiny is going to depend on how grateful you are where you’re at. A grateful heart opens doors that no man can shut, a grateful heart takes you places you’ve never been before because the more you are grateful of where you are now the more blessings God brings your way.
The more thankful you are, you will experience the joys of happiness and you will feel more love ,you will become more blessed , you with attract good friendships, you will attract good businesses, you will achieve everything you’ve ever dreamed of, you will you will excel far beyond your wildest dreams because you discovered the top most valuable secret and key to success and lacking nothing and that is gratitude and thanksgiving.
So above all be thankful, it’s not to late for you. You can change your life by being grateful every single day, I promise you it will change your life and your world forever.
Even the Bible clearly tells us in Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Have a blessed week. Share in the comments below what your thankful for. Stay inspired
